Social enterprise describes businesses that care about people, about the planet and about profit, offering a thoroughly modern business model. We are delighted therefore to be hosting a Social Enterprise Fair on campus to celebrate this burgeoning sector and the mutually beneficial partnership opportunities emerging through engagement with our staff, students and community. There will be networking opportunities, exhibitions and clinics throughout the day, and to kick all this off we will also be officially launching the Social Enterprise UEN (Urban Enterprise Network) which Plymouth University is leading on behalf of the UKs Higher Education institutions and the National Council for Enterprise Educators (NCEE).
